The Dane County Deputy Sheriff’s Association is the union body for the deputy sheriff’s of the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. With a population of over 500,000, Dane County is served and protected by 400 dedicated men and women who are proud to serve as Deputy Sheriffs.

The Dane County Deputy Sheriff’s Association works with the office of the county executive and the board of supervisors, to negotiate fair wages, benefits and safe working conditions while serving the citizens of Dane County.

The DCDSA serves to advance the interest of the professionals represented by the DCDSA and the community it serves through legislative and legal advocacy, political action and education.

The board of directors is made up of 11 active members from the DCDSA who are elected by the membership, which guides the association, serving three-year terms.

The executive board is elected annually by the board and consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sergeant at Arms.
